She is trained by her best friend Dita Von Teese, so we sat in the same booth! Dita was feeling under the weather , so no close-ups......mind you, I've never seen a person look SO put together, yet not feeling well....but I love how she came out to support. We had a blast dancing the night away after! |

I was on LA Ink : - 2nd Episode where I get my tattoo from Kim Saigh, and tell some of "My Story". - Kat sets a Guiness World Record! 400 Tattoos in 24 hours.Everybody got this LA tattoo! - I also got to hang out with Kat & her friends for her shop's Grand Opening party at Metal Skool! -The Kat Von D I know....... I'm a lucky L.A. lady to have met Kat years ago at Rockabilly shows and some photoshoot. I think she was 17, I was 18....she was already tattooing and one thing that has not changed is she's ALWAYS been a head-turner, and all I've ever seen of her is to have a mind of her own, but with a heart of gold. So of course I'd jump at the chance to have her tattoo me for her World Record attempt! I can't tell you enough on WHY she's a good example of a person carving out their own unique path. She's latin, 25 years old, a woman in a male-based career.....who runs her own shop of the best tattoo artists! I can't wait to Feature her.
