K, back to my story.... March 18th 2003 Jakob Dali was born! woohoo! Dali didn't make the first-name cut, but it's after Salvador Dali. Our favorite artist! When davids hair came in, it was as soft as Jakobs baby hair! We've gone through the rollercoaster of a new baby. The frustrations, laughs, and thepriceless moments. You can read all about how babys are formed and how they grow. but my mind will never grasp HOW I made him. I thought the crazy story would end there..... but it def didnt!!! *rolling eyes* ooooooh my goodness! |

| The Doc gave David a 50/50....... Either 4?5?6? years to be able to "make babies" or he could just be steril, *eek*! So David would just tell people he was steril cause we got asked (a lot) if we would have another one but *blank look on our face* We didnt know!!! My sis had her baby girl Paris Thursday, June 3rd.... and again everybody turns to us, "So when are YOU guys having your next kid?" We reeeeally wanted another, but I HAD to look at it like Jakob might just be it. We figured if we didn't get pregnant by the time Jakob was 3, we'd go have tests taken and go from there........turns out, I feel queezy for no reason, so I send david to the 99cent store for a pregnancy test "Just to see hunny, Just to see." (yeah, 99cents but they work) Monday, June 7th we find out im pregnant! haha! We spend the rest of the day looking at each other and cracking up! What luck...what a blessing! We were SO happy, and ready for pregnancy again! Davids doctor was also surprised cause I got pregnant about 2 years after his chemo (not 4?5?6?) and did I mentioned HOW shocked my parents were?! My sis had JUST had her baby! HIS parents were BEYOND-happy cause just that week I had to explain to his dad what our "reproduction" plans were! hahaha! I can't tell you HOW badly I wanted a girl. When I got the ultrasound showing it was a girl. I was in a daze the rest of the day! She was such a surprise! By this point, I really went along with whatever life threw at me. So having a girl was a total gift from God. No really....a gift, and I was SO HAPPY!!! February 2nd Liset Valentina is born. Since I knew the drill. I brought along my make-up, tiara, and the softest lil things to dress her up in. I recommend, 'cause there are hours to just kick it with your new baby. I got to tell my story on the 2nd Episode of Kat Von D's LA Ink and I got a tattoo for Liset & my rollercoaster! It's her handprint with cherry blossoms falling from it. The handprint represents my surprise in life, and the cherry blossoms traditionaly represent life. How we are fragile and bloom for a short time, so we have to make the most of our time here! I know I have. Sade's "By Your Side" is my song to both my kiddies. |
